Product details

GP672 is part of the GP series in CSB's product line and is a general purpose valve regulated sealed lead acid (VRLA) battery; its gas recombination efficiency can reach 99%, it uses absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology, and it is designed to be maintenance-free. On the electrical side, maximum charge current is 2.16A, maximum discharge current is 130A, short circuit current is 259A, and internal resistance is 12.3mΩ. At 25°C, the float charge voltage range is 6.75 to 6.90Vdc/battery, and the equalization charge voltage range is 7.20 to 7.50Vdc/battery. In terms of capacity, GP672 has a nominal voltage of 6Vdc; at 1.75VPC @25°C, 20hr-rate, the nominal capacity is 7.2Ah. When discharged at the 8-hour rate at 1.75VPC, capacity is 7.04Ah; at the 20-hour rate at 1.75VPC, capacity is 8.40Ah; at the 8-hour rate at 1.80VPC, capacity is 6.96Ah. The battery uses pure lead construction and a proprietary formula, intended for float backup power applications. Self-discharge is low, with less than 10% self-discharge after 90 days storage at 25°C, and it can be stored for up to 6 months; a full charge is required before use, and if storage temperature exceeds 25°C, charge earlier. Mechanically, GP672 is 151.0±2.0mm long, 34.0±1.0mm wide, and 100.7±1.5mm high, weighs approximately 1.22kg, and has an F2 Faston Tab 250 terminal type. The case material is ABS (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version is also available on request. Temperature ranges include: nominal temperature 25°C, discharge -15°C to 50°C, charge and storage -15°C to 40°C. At 25°C, design float service life can reach 5 years; under the Eurobat (20°C) standard, it is 3 to 5 years. Manufacturing standard is IEC 61056-1/2:2012, and it is UL1989 recognized (MH14533). The GP series is officially defined as general purpose VRLA batteries and can cover a variety of applications such as security, emergency lighting, and medical equipment. With 6V voltage and 7.2Ah capacity, GP672 provides a maintenance-free battery option for float backup power requirements.
