Product details
The CSB GP series includes general-purpose valve-regulated sealed lead-acid batteries, and the GP12340 is one of the models. It uses a top terminal VRLA-AGM design and is available in 6V and 12V specifications. The battery has a nominal voltage of 12 Vdc. At 25°C and 1.75 VPC, the 20-hour rate nominal capacity is 34 Ah; under the same conditions, the 8-hour rate capacity is 34.7 Ah and the 20-hour rate capacity is 37.6 Ah; at 1.80 VPC and the 8-hour rate, the capacity is 34.1 Ah. Its design combines a valve-regulated sealed structure with absorbent glass mat technology; gas recombination efficiency is up to 99%, it is maintenance-free, and it uses a pure lead construction.
Dimensions and assembly information: length 195.6±2.0 mm, width 130.0±1.5 mm, height 178.3±2.0 mm, weight 10.48 kg. Terminal: B5 terminal to accept M6 bolt; torque values include 51.7±10.3 Kgf∙cm, 44.9±9.0 Lbf∙in, 5.10±1.0 N∙m. The case is made of ABS (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version can also be supplied on request.
In terms of electrical performance, the GP12340 has a maximum charging current of 10.2 A, maximum discharge current of 380 A, short-circuit current of 915 A, and internal resistance of 9.5 mΩ. At 25°C, the float charge voltage is between 13.5 and 13.8 Vdc/battery, and the equalization charge voltage is between 14.4 and 15.0 Vdc/battery. Self-discharge performance: after 90 days of storage at 25°C, remaining capacity is over 90%; it can be stored for up to 6 months at 25°C and must be fully charged before use; when storage temperature is above 25°C, the recharge interval should be shortened accordingly.
Temperature conditions and service life: nominal temperature 25°C; discharge range -15°C to 50°C; charging and storage range -15°C to 40°C. For float standby service at 25°C, the design service life is up to 5 years; according to the Eurobat (20°C) standard, commercial service life is 3 to 5 years. This product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 61056-1/2:2012 and is UL1989 Recognized (MH14533).
The GP series is positioned as general-purpose VRLA batteries, serving applications such as security, emergency lighting, and medical equipment.
