Product details
GP12650 is a general purpose valve regulated sealed lead-acid product in the CSB GP series, with a top terminal construction, covering 6V and 12V; this model has a nominal voltage of 12 Vdc. Its capacity performance is as follows: at 25°C and 1.75 VPC, the 20-hour rate nominal capacity is 65 Ah; the 8-hour rate is 62.9 Ah; under 8-hour rate and 1.80 VPC conditions, it is 62.1 Ah. The battery is maintenance-free and uses Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology, with gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, making it suitable for float standby power applications.
Construction-wise, the terminal type is I2 and can accept M6 bolts, with torque values of 51.7±10.3 Kgf∙cm, 44.9±9.0 Lbf∙in, or 5.10±1.0 N∙m. The case uses PP (UL 94-HB); a flame-retardant 94-V0 version is also available on request. Dimensions are length 349.4±2.5 mm, width 166.0±2.0 mm, and height 174.9±2.0 mm; the unit weight is 20.00 kg (44.08 lb).
Electrically, the maximum charging current is 19.5 A, maximum discharge current is 500 A, short-circuit current is 1663 A, and internal resistance is 5.8 mΩ. At 25°C, the float charging voltage range is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc, and the equalization charging voltage range is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc. Self-discharge characteristics: when stored at 25°C for 90 days, self-discharge is less than 10%, and storage is possible for up to 6 months; fully charge before putting into service, and if storage temperature exceeds 25°C, recharge earlier.
In terms of temperature and life, nominal temperature is 25°C; discharge is permitted from -15°C to 50°C, and charging and storage are permitted from -15°C to 40°C. Under 25°C float standby conditions, design life is up to 5 years; under Eurobat 20°C standard commercial conditions, life is 3 to 5 years. Manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and recognized to UL1989 (MH14533).
The GP series is officially positioned as a general purpose VRLA battery and can serve applications such as security, emergency lighting, and medical equipment. The GP12650 uses a pure lead construction and proprietary formulation, developed for float standby power, and can serve as a backup power source in the above applications.
