Product details
The GP series is officially positioned as a general-purpose VRLA battery series and can be used in a variety of applications such as security, emergency lighting, and medical equipment. The CSB GP12200 belongs to this series and is a general-purpose valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery with a rated voltage of 12 Vdc and a nominal capacity of 20 Ah (20hr-rate, 1.75 VPC @25°C). It is intended for float standby power applications and uses a valve-regulated sealed construction and absorbed glass mat technology, with gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and a maintenance-free design. The GP12200 also uses a pure lead construction and proprietary formulation, so it can be used as a backup power source in the above scenarios.
At 25°C, the capacities are: 20.56 Ah at the 8-hour rate to 1.75 VPC, 22.60 Ah at the 20-hour rate to 1.75 VPC, and 20.24 Ah at the 8-hour rate to 1.80 VPC.
Electrical parameters include a maximum charge current of 6.00 A, maximum discharge current of 230 A, short-circuit current of 559 A, and internal resistance of 16.1 mΩ; at 25°C, the float charge voltage is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery, and the equalization charge voltage is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery. Self-discharge performance: after 90 days of storage at 25°C, the remaining capacity is above 90%, and storage for up to 6 months is possible; a full charge is required before use; if the storage temperature is above 25°C, supplementary charging should be performed sooner.
Length, width, and height are 181.0±2.0 mm, 76.0±1.0 mm, and 165.0±2.0 mm respectively, and the weight is 5.80 kg (14.11 lb). The I1 threaded lead-alloy terminal accepts M5 bolts, and the terminal torque is 30.4±6.1 Kgf∙cm, which is 3.0±0.6 N∙m or 26.4±5.3 Lbf∙in. The case material is ABS (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant 94-V0 version is also available upon request.
Temperature adaptability: nominal temperature 25°C (77°F); discharge can be performed from -15°C to 50°C (5°F to 122°F), and charging and storage can be performed from -15°C to 40°C (5°F to 104°F). For float standby service at 25°C, the design life is up to 5 years; the Eurobat (20°C) standard commercial life is 3 to 5 years. Manufactured in compliance with IEC 61056-1/2:2012 and recognized by UL1989 (MH14533).
