Product details
CSB GP121000 is a general-purpose valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery in the GP series. This series covers 6V and 12V top-terminal VRLA-AGM product types. The nominal voltage of model GP121000 is 12 Vdc; at 25°C and 1.75 VPC, calculated at the 20-hour rate, the nominal capacity is 100 Ah. The data also lists other capacities: 94.4 Ah at the 8-hour rate and 1.75 VPC; 102 Ah at the 20-hour rate and 1.75 VPC; and 92.0 Ah at the 8-hour rate and 1.80 VPC.
In terms of construction, the product uses Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology and a valve-regulated sealed lead-acid design, with a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and is classified as maintenance-free. The plates are constructed of pure lead with proprietary formulation elements, designed for float standby power applications. The case is made of PP material (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version can also be supplied on request. The terminal specification is I2, compatible with M6 bolts, and the terminal torque is 51.7±10.3 Kgf·cm, 44.9±9.0 Lbf·in, or 5.10±1.0 N·m.
Dimensions and weight data: length 343.0±2.5 mm (13.50±0.10 in), width 170.0±2.0 mm (6.69±0.08 in), height 216.9±2.5 mm (8.54±0.10 in), weight 30.6 kg (67.44 lb).
In terms of electrical characteristics, the GP121000 has a maximum charging current of 30.00 A, a maximum discharge current of 800 A, a short-circuit current of 2323 A, and an internal resistance of 4.4 mΩ. Float voltage at 25°C is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery, and equalization voltage at 25°C is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery.
Regarding self-discharge performance, after 90 days in a 25°C environment, capacity loss is less than 10%; it can be stored for up to 6 months and must be fully charged before use. If storage temperature exceeds 25°C, earlier charging is required.
Under float standby service at 25°C, design life can reach 5 years; according to the Eurobat (20°C) standard, commercial life is 3 to 5 years. For operating temperature, the nominal temperature is 25°C (77°F), the discharge range is -15°C to 50°C (5°F to 122°F), and the charge and storage range is -15°C to 40°C (5°F to 104°F).
The product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is UL1989 recognized (MH14533). GP series is officially positioned as a general-purpose VRLA battery series for various applications such as security, emergency lighting, and medical equipment. The GP121000 is suitable for applications requiring 12V high-capacity float standby power; its maintenance-free AGM design and pure lead construction help maintain stable operation in standby power systems.
