XPL5700 is a member of the XPL series introduced by CSB and is a 12V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery. Its construction uses AGM technology, i.e., absorbent glass mat, with gas recombination efficiency up to 99%, and it is a maintenance-free design. The series is positioned as a high-capacity pure lead VRLA series, intended for long-duration backup applications requiring large-format single cells; the officially specified primary application area is data center uninterruptible power supplies.
In terms of structural design, the XPL5700 uses I2 threaded lead alloy terminals, can accept M6 bolts, and has terminal torque of 51.7±10.3 Kgf∙cm, 44.9±9.0 Lbf∙in, or 5.1±1.0 N∙m. The case material is PP (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version can also be provided on request. For self-discharge, it is less than 10% after 90 days at 25°C and can be stored for up to 6 months; with equalization charging, up to 10 months. It must be fully charged before use, and if storage temperature is above 25°C, it should be recharged sooner.
