Product details

The CSB XPL2000 in the XPL series is a 12V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery with terminals located on top. This product uses AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology, can achieve gas recombination efficiency up to 99%, and is designed to be maintenance-free overall. The XPL series is positioned as a high-capacity pure lead VRLA product line, commonly used in long-duration backup applications requiring large individual cells; its officially listed application is data center uninterruptible power supplies. Mechanically, the XPL2000 is equipped with an I2 threaded lead-alloy terminal and can use M6 bolts; the terminal tightening torque is 51.7±10.3 Kgf∙cm, which can also be converted to 44.9±9.0 Lbf∙in or 5.1±1.0 N∙m. The case material is ABS, meeting UL 94-HB; if a flame-retardant 94-V0 version is required, it can be supplied upon request. The weight is 13.58 kg (29.94 lb); dimensions are length 197.0±2.0 mm (7.76±0.08 in), width 165.0±2.0 mm (6.50±0.08 in), and height 170.4±2.0 mm (6.71±0.08 in). In terms of power and electrical specifications, the nominal capacity of the XPL2000 is 2000W @5min-rate, with test conditions of 9.60V per cell and 25°C. The 5-minute rate power reaches 321.33 W/cell, and the 15-minute rate power is 173.67 W/cell; both are tested at 1.67 VPC and 25°C. The maximum charge current is 16.70 A, the maximum discharge current is 400 A, the short-circuit current is 1243 A, and the internal resistance is 6.33 mΩ. At 25°C, the float voltage range is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery, and the equalization voltage range is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery. Temperature and life performance: nominal temperature 25°C; discharge can be performed from -15°C to 50°C, and the allowable charging and storage range is -15°C to 40°C. Under 25°C float standby service conditions, the design life is up to 10 years; according to the Eurobat 20°C standard, it is classified as 10/12-year long life. In terms of self-discharge, it is less than 10% after 90 days at 25°C; storage time can reach 6 months, and can be extended to 10 months with equalization charging. It must be fully charged before being put into service; when storage temperature exceeds 25°C, charge it earlier. In terms of manufacturing and certification, this product is manufactured according to IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and recognized under UL1989, recognition number MH14533. With pure lead construction and proprietary element design, it can be used for high-rate UPS and float standby power, and is also suitable for applications requiring long-duration backup such as data center uninterruptible power supplies. In actual use, please operate according to the charging voltage and temperature conditions specified in the data to ensure the battery maintains normal operating status.
