Product details
The CSB XPL2200 in the XPL series is a 12V top-terminal valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery that combines pure lead and AGM technology in its construction. For long-duration standby applications requiring high-capacity monobloc units, this series meets the need; data center uninterruptible power supplies are its official application direction. At 25°C, nominal capacity is 2200W @5min-rate. Cell power (W/cell) at 1.67 VPC is: 563.00 W/cell at 30 seconds, 366.17 W/cell at 5 minutes, and 201.50 W/cell at 15 minutes.
Electrically, internal resistance is 5.60 mΩ and short-circuit current is 1344 A; maximum discharge current is 500 A, and maximum charge current is 18.30 A. At 25°C, float voltage must be maintained at 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery, and equalization voltage at 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery. Terminals are I2 threaded lead alloy and can accept M6 bolts, with tightening torque of 51.7±10.3 Kgf∙cm, 44.9±9.0 Lbf∙in, or 5.1±1.0 N∙m.
Length, width, and height are 228.0±2.5 mm, 138.4±1.5 mm, and 206.3±2.5 mm respectively, with a total weight of 16.65 kg (36.70 lb). PP (UL 94-HB) is used for the case; if flame retardant (94-V0) is required, it can also be supplied on request. Design life is up to 10 years under 25°C float standby service, and the Eurobat (20°C) rating exceeds 12 years, providing ultra-long life.
For temperature specifications, 25°C is the nominal value; discharge range is -15°C to 50°C; charge and storage range is -15°C to 40°C. For self-discharge, after 90 days at 25°C, self-discharge is less than 10%; maximum storage is 6 months, or up to 10 months with equalization charging. Fully charge before first use; if storage temperature exceeds 25°C, charge earlier.
The valve-regulated sealed lead-acid design plus AGM technology forms the foundation of the XPL2200, with gas recombination efficiency up to 99% and no maintenance required. The pure lead construction and proprietary element design target high-rate UPS and float standby power. Manufacturing follows IEC 60896-21/22:2004, and UL1989 recognition (MH14533) has also been obtained.
