For data center uninterruptible power supply systems, as well as high-rate UPS and float-charge backup power applications, the XPL4700 is a high-capacity pure lead valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery in the XPL series from CSB. This model uses absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology, achieves gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and features a maintenance-free design. Its nominal voltage is 12V; at 25°C and 9.60V per battery, the 5-minute rate power is 4700W. Terminals are I2 threaded lead alloy terminals that accept M6 bolts, with a recommended installation torque of 5.1±1.0 N·m. Dimensions are 308.7±2.5 mm long, 169.0±2.0 mm wide, and 213.6±2.5 mm high, with a weight of approximately 33.00 kg. The case uses PP material (UL 94-HB); a flame-retardant (94-V0) version is also available. At 1.67VPC and 25°C, the 30-second, 5-minute, and 15-minute power ratings are 1054.67 W/cell, 758.17 W/cell, and 438.83 W/cell, respectively. Electrically, the maximum charge current is 39.20A, maximum discharge current is 1050A, short-circuit current is 2759A, and internal resistance is 2.86 mΩ. The battery can be stored for up to 6 months; if stored at 25°C with supplementary charging, this can be extended to 10 months. A full charge is required before use.
