Product details
XTV12800 comes from CSB's XTV product line and is a nominal 12 Vdc Top Terminal valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery. It combines an AGM design with pure lead construction, primarily serving the telecom broadband market, and can be installed both indoors and outdoors. Its nominal capacity at the 20-hour rate (25°C, 1.75 VPC) is 80 Ah; at the same temperature, the 8-hour rate capacity is 74.2 Ah, while at 1.80 VPC, the 8-hour rate capacity is 73.0 Ah.
For charge and discharge capability: maximum charge current 24 A; maximum discharge current 800 A; short-circuit current 1917 A; internal resistance 4.70 mΩ. At 25°C, float charging must be maintained at 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery, while equalization charging is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery. The battery terminal is an I2 thread lead alloy terminal and can be fitted with an M6 bolt; terminal torque options are 51.7±10.3 Kgf∙cm, 44.9±9.0 Lbf∙in, or 5.1±1.0 N∙m.
Dimensions and weight: length 261.0±2.5 mm, width 168.5±2.0 mm, height 213.5±2.5 mm, weight 25.50 kg. The case material is PP (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version can also be supplied if required. Temperature ranges include: nominal 25°C; discharge and charge are both -20°C to 50°C; storage is -15°C to 40°C.
In construction, this battery is valve-regulated sealed and uses AGM technology, with gas recombination efficiency up to 99%, making it a maintenance-free type. The pure lead construction and proprietary formulation allow it to provide float backup power under harsh temperature conditions. In terms of design life: up to 12 years in float service at 25°C; under Eurobat (20°C), it exceeds 12 years and is classified as Very Long Life. The product is manufactured to IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is UL1989 Recognized (MH14533).
When stored at 25°C for 90 days, capacity loss from self-discharge is less than 10%; in a 25°C environment, the maximum storage period is 6 months. The battery must be fully charged before being put into service; if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, it should be recharged earlier. With the above features, the XTV12800 can serve as float backup power for telecom communication base stations and meets the requirements of indoor and outdoor broadband scenarios for long-life, maintenance-free batteries.
