Product details

As a member of the XTV series, the CSB XTV1272 is a 12V top-terminal valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery. It uses AGM absorptive glass mat separator technology, with gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and features a pure lead construction. This series is designed for telecom broadband applications and can be deployed indoors or outdoors, primarily for float backup power applications. Capacity-wise, the XTV1272 has a nominal capacity of 7.2Ah at the 20hr rate, 1.75VPC @25°C; at the 8-hour rate, it is 6.72Ah at 1.75VPC @25°C and 6.56Ah at 1.80VPC @25°C; at the 20-hour rate, 1.75VPC @25°C, it is 7.40Ah. In terms of parameters, the maximum charge current is 2.16A, the maximum discharge current is 130A, the short-circuit current is 305A, and the internal resistance is 20.40mΩ. Regarding charging and temperature, in a 25°C environment, the float charge voltage range is 13.5 to 13.8Vdc, and the equalization charge voltage range is 14.4 to 15.0Vdc. Its nominal operating temperature is 25°C, the discharge and charge temperature range is -20°C to 50°C, and the storage temperature range is -15°C to 40°C. Self-discharge is less than 10% after 90 days at 25°C; it can be stored for up to 6 months and must be fully charged before use; if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, it must be charged earlier. Regarding structural parameters, the length, width, and height of the XTV1272 are 150.9±2.0mm, 64.8±1.0mm, and 98.6±1.0mm respectively, with a weight of 2.57kg, and it is equipped with F2 Faston Tab 250 terminals. The case is made of ABS (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version can also be supplied on request. If used in float charge at 25°C, the maximum design life is 12 years; according to Eurobat (20°C) standards, it is a 10/12-year long-life battery. The XTV1272 is manufactured in accordance with IEC 61056-1/2:2012 and is UL1989 recognized (MH14533). It features a maintenance-free design and can be used for float backup power scenarios under extreme temperature conditions, such as indoor and outdoor backup power for telecommunications equipment. During storage or use, the voltage and temperature requirements above should be followed to maintain its performance.
