Product details
CSB's HR1251W is a high-rate discharge pure lead battery in the HR series and also a 12V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery; its applications include small-output UPS and backup scenarios requiring rapid discharge. This model uses VRLA (valve-regulated sealed lead-acid) and AGM (absorbent glass mat), with gas recombination efficiency up to 99%, and is maintenance-free. The positive and negative plates are constructed from pure lead with a proprietary formula, enabling high-rate discharge. It meets IEC 61056-1/2:2012; UL1989 certification (MH14533) has been obtained. The case material is ABS (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant version (94-V0) is available upon request.
Physical specifications: length 151.0±2.0 mm, width 98.0±1.0 mm, height 100.3±1.5 mm, weight approximately 3.85 kg. At 25°C, the float charge voltage per battery is 13.5-13.8 Vdc, and the equalization charge voltage is 14.4-15.0 Vdc. Maximum charge current 5.10A, maximum discharge current 180A, short-circuit current 462A, internal resistance 13.6 mΩ. Terminal type is F2-Faston Tab250. Temperature range: discharge allowed -15°C to 50°C; charge/storage allowed -15°C to 40°C; nominal operating temperature 25°C.
Nominal capacity is 51W @15min-rate (1.67 VPC @25°C). On a per-cell power basis, the 5-minute rate is 108.5W and the 15-minute rate is 53.3W. This battery can also be used in float standby applications such as data center uninterruptible power supplies that require high-rate discharge. Under float service at 25°C, design life can reach 5 years; according to the Eurobat standard (20°C), it is 3-5 years. After 90 days in a 25°C environment, the self-discharge rate is less than 10%; maximum storage is 6 months, and a full charge is required before use; when storage temperature exceeds 25°C, charging should be performed earlier.
For applications such as data center UPS that require both high-rate discharge and reliable backup power, HR1251W is suitable. With its pure lead construction and AGM design, this battery is better able to maintain stable performance in float standby mode. During installation, terminals should be connected reliably; also operate according to the recommended charging voltage and temperature conditions so that the battery's design characteristics can be fully realized.
