HR1224W is a product in CSB's HR series and belongs to the 12V Top Terminal valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery category. It uses an absorbent glass mat separator, also known as AGM technology, with gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and normally requires no maintenance. This series is positioned as a high-rate discharge pure lead battery series, targeting UPS with lower output power and fast-discharge backup scenarios; the officially listed application is data center uninterruptible power supplies. In terms of specifications, HR1224W has a voltage of 12 Vdc; at 1.67 VPC and 25°C, the nominal capacity is 24W @15min-rate. On the same 1.67 VPC and 25°C basis, the 5-minute rate power reaches 54.8 W/cell, and the 15-minute rate power is 27.0 W/cell. The battery's maximum charging current is 2.40 A, short-circuit current is 260 A, and internal resistance is 20.6 mΩ. The terminal type is F2-Faston Tab250. Charging and temperature conditions are as follows: at 25°C, the float charging voltage is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery, and the equalization charging voltage is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery. The nominal operating temperature is 25°C; discharge is allowed from -15°C to 50°C, and charging and storage are allowed from -15°C to 40°C. For self-discharge, after 90 days in a 25°C environment, capacity loss is less than 10%; it can be stored for up to 6 months and should be fully charged before use; when storage temperature exceeds 25°C, it must be recharged earlier. The product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 61056-1/2:2012 and has obtained UL1989 Recognized (MH14533). With its pure lead construction and high-rate discharge capability, it is suitable for float service scenarios such as data center UPS that require fast-discharge backup.
