In the CSB GPL series, the GPL12260 is classified as a 12V Top Terminal valve regulated sealed lead-acid battery based on AGM technology. The GPL series can be regarded as a life-enhanced version of the GP series, serving general-purpose backup power applications and giving the battery a longer service life under float charging. This model uses pure lead construction and a proprietary formulation, achieving a gas recombination efficiency of 99%; it is also a maintenance-free solution for float-charge backup power.
Its nominal capacity is 26 Ah, corresponding to the 20-hour rate, 1.75 VPC, at 25°C. If the temperature is maintained at 25°C, capacity reaches 26.72 Ah at the 8-hour rate, 1.75 VPC; 29.00 Ah at the 20-hour rate, 1.75 VPC; and 26.00 Ah at the 8-hour rate, 1.80 VPC. The maximum charge current is 7.80 A, maximum discharge current is 350 A, short-circuit current is 662 A, and internal resistance is 9.6 mΩ. These data can be used to evaluate the battery's charge and discharge performance in backup power systems.
