Product details
GPL12120 is part of CSB's GPL series and is designed for float standby power, covering general-purpose backup applications such as uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), emergency lighting, security systems, communication equipment, and various industrial backup power supplies. It is also a longer-life model in the GP series. The battery is a 12V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid (VRLA) type, with terminals on the top, AGM absorbent glass mat separators, gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and no routine maintenance required.
For capacity parameters, the nominal capacity is 12 Ah (20-hour rate, 1.75 VPC @25°C); at the 8-hour rate, it is 9.76 Ah (1.75 VPC @25°C) or 9.60 Ah (1.80 VPC @25°C). In dimensions, length is 151.0±2.0 mm, width is 98.0±1.0 mm, height is 100.3±1.5 mm, weight is approximately 4.10 kg, and the terminal type is F2 Faston Tab 250.
For electrical performance, maximum charge current is 3.60 A, maximum discharge current is 180 A, short-circuit current is 458 A, and internal resistance is 13.2 mΩ. At 25°C, the float charge voltage range is 13.5 - 13.8 Vdc/battery, and the equalization charge voltage range is 14.4 - 15.0 Vdc/battery.
At 25°C, the design float life can be up to 8 years and meets the Eurobat long-life standard (10/12 years at 20°C). The battery has a low self-discharge level, with remaining capacity still above 90% after standing for 90 days; it can be stored for up to 6 months at 25°C, but must be fully charged before use. If storage temperature is higher than 25°C, charge it earlier.
Operating temperature range: nominal 25°C; discharge -15°C to 50°C; charge/storage -15°C to 40°C. The case uses ABS (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version can also be supplied on request. The product meets IEC 61056-1/2:2012 and is certified to UL1989 (MH14533).
The pure lead construction and proprietary formula help extend the service life of the GPL12120, thereby maintaining reliable power in standby service.
