Product details
In the official application segment of data center uninterruptible power supply, the CSB XPL7000FT is a 12V front terminal valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery in the XPL-FT series. It is made with AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology, with gas recombination efficiency up to 99%, and uses a pure lead construction and proprietary elemental formulation; the series is primarily intended for high-rate UPS and data center backup power. As a maintenance-free valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery, this model is suitable for data center UPS and other applications requiring high-rate discharge and float-charge standby.
In terms of service life and certifications, under standby float service at 25°C, the XPL7000FT has a design life of up to 10 years; according to the Eurobat (20°C) standard, it is greater than 12 years and classified as Very Long Life. It is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and has UL1989 recognition (MH14533).
For electrical and environmental conditions, at 25°C the float charge voltage is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery, and the equalization charge voltage is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery. Nominal operating temperature is 25°C (77°F); discharge temperature is -15°C to 50°C (5°F to 122°F), and charge and storage temperature is -15°C to 40°C (5°F to 104°F). Self-discharge after 90 days at 25°C is less than 10%; it can be stored for up to 6 months, and with equalization charging for up to 10 months. It must be fully charged before use; if storage temperature is above 25°C, charge earlier.
For power and current parameters, under test conditions of 9.60V per battery at 25°C, the nominal capacity reaches 7000W @5min-rate. Its per-cell power performance is: 1766.00 W/cell at 30 seconds, 1.67 VPC, 25°C; 1144.17 W/cell at 5 minutes, 1.67 VPC, 25°C; 642.50 W/cell at 15 minutes, 1.67 VPC, 25°C. Internal resistance is 2.01 mΩ; short-circuit current is 4132 A; maximum discharge current is 1550 A; maximum charge current is 58.30 A.
For construction and installation, I2 threaded lead alloy terminals accept M6 bolts, with terminal torque 51.7±10.3 Kgf∙cm, 44.9±9.0 Lbf∙in, or 5.1±1.0 N∙m. The case material is PP (UL 94-HB); a flame-retardant (94-V0) version is available upon request. External dimensions are length 558.0±2.5 mm, width 126.0±1.5 mm, height 255.0±2.5 mm; weight is 49.70 kg (109.57 lb).
