The CSB UPS12580 is developed for UPS applications and is especially suitable for float standby power in data centers. It belongs to the UPS series, which comprises 6V and 12V top-terminal valve-regulated sealed lead-acid (VRLA) batteries. Using absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology, gas recombination efficiency can reach 99%; it also uses a pure lead construction and proprietary elements. In terms of construction, its terminal is F2 terminal - Faston Tab 250, and the case is made of ABS (UL 94-HB); a flame-retardant (94-V0) version is also available upon request. Dimensions are length 150.9±2.0 mm, width 64.8±1.0 mm, height 98.6±1.0 mm, and weight 2.83 kg (6.24 lb). For environmental adaptability, the nominal temperature is 25°C, discharge can be performed from -15°C to 50°C, and charging and storage from -15°C to 40°C. After standing at 25°C for 90 days, the self-discharge rate is below 10%. It can be stored for up to 6 months, but must be fully charged before reuse; if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, charge it earlier. Under float charge at 25°C, the design life can reach 5 years and meets the Eurobat (20°C) standard of 3-5 years for commercial applications.
