Product details

The CSB TPL121000FR is classified in the TPL series and is a front-terminal valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery. It is designed for float standby power, with its official use specified as telecommunications; within the series, this product serves the multi-hour runtime requirements of broadband applications. Technically, the battery uses an absorbed glass mat (AGM) separator, combining pure lead construction with a proprietary element formula, and can achieve gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%. Structurally, the case uses flame-retardant ABS material and meets UL 94-V0. The terminals are in I2 threaded lead alloy form and can be fitted with M6 bolts; the terminal torque requirement is 51.7±10.3 Kgf∙cm, equivalent to 44.9±9.0 Lbf∙in or 5.1±1.0 N∙m. Overall dimensions are: length 511.6±2.5 mm, width 110.0±1.5 mm, height 255.5±2.5 mm; weight is approximately 38.30 kg, equivalent to 84.41 lb. Electrical specifications: nominal voltage is 12 Vdc, nominal capacity is 100 Ah, tested at 1.80 VPC @25°C, 10-hour rate. If discharge conditions are changed, capacity data are as follows: at 8-hour rate, 1.75 VPC @25°C, it can deliver 100 Ah; at 20-hour rate, 1.75 VPC @25°C, 107 Ah; at 8-hour rate, 1.80 VPC @25°C, 96.8 Ah. Maximum charge current is 30 A, maximum discharge current is 800 A, short-circuit current is 2216 A, and internal resistance is 3.70 mΩ. Charging management parameters: at 25°C, float charge voltage is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/cell, and equalizing charge voltage is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/cell. Temperature conditions: nominal temperature 25°C; discharge can be between -15°C and 50°C; charging and storage can be between -15°C and 40°C. Self-discharge after 90 days is less than 10%. At 25°C, storage can last up to 6 months, and the battery must be fully charged before use; if storage temperature is above 25°C, recharging is required sooner. In terms of design life, it can reach 12 years under float charge at 25°C and meets the Eurobat long life standard (greater than 12 years at 20°C). It is manufactured according to IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is also recognized to UL1989 (MH14533).
