Product details

MSV-800 belongs to the CSB MSV series and is a 2V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid (VRLA-AGM) battery. The manufacturer's specified application is focused on telecommunications; this series is aimed at large-scale telecommunications and emergency scenarios, focusing on high-capacity, long-life backup power. Capacity performance: At 25°C, 1.80 VPC, and 10hr-rate, the nominal capacity is 800Ah; at the same 25°C, the 20-hour rate at 1.75 VPC is 820.00Ah; the 8-hour rate at 1.75 VPC is 784.00Ah, and at 1.80 VPC is 768.00Ah. Accordingly, different discharge regimes can be used to select the appropriate backup duration. This product has a valve-regulated sealed lead-acid construction and uses absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology; gas recombination efficiency can reach 99%, and it is maintenance-free; it is manufactured with pure lead and proprietary elements, making it suitable for high-capacity float standby power. Manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and has UL1989 recognition (MH14533). The case is flame-retardant ABS, meeting UL 94-V0, which helps ensure safe operation in environments such as equipment rooms and communication sites. Electrical specifications: The rated voltage of the MSV-800 is 2 Vdc; maximum charge current 240.00A, maximum discharge current 4800A, internal resistance 0.38 mΩ. The terminal uses an I4 threaded copper alloy type and can be fitted with M8 bolts; the tightening torque is 126±25 Kgf·cm, 109±22 Lbf·in, or 12.3±2.5 N·m, which helps ensure stable connections in telecommunications DC power systems. At 25°C, the float charge voltage is 2.21 to 2.25 Vdc/battery, and the equalization charge voltage is 2.35 Vdc/battery. Dimensions are as follows: length 373.0±2.5mm, width 174.0±2.0mm, height 339.0±2.5mm; weight 50.60kg (111.52 lb.). As a large-format 2V cell, it is suitable for installation in groups in backup power systems for telecommunications equipment rooms. The design life can reach 15 years under 25°C float charge conditions; under the Eurobat (20°C) standard, it is greater than 12 years, with a Very Long Life rating, suitable for telecommunications and emergency power supply applications on long-term float standby. Temperature conditions: The nominal value is 25°C (77°F). During discharge, -15°C to 50°C (5°F to 122°F) is allowed; during charging and storage, it is limited to -15°C to 40°C (5°F to 104°F). Open-circuit self-discharge performance: when stored at 25°C for 90 days, the capacity decreases by less than 10%; the maximum permitted storage is 6 months, and it must be fully charged before being put into service. If the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, charging should be scheduled earlier to maintain battery condition.
