MSJ-260 is part of the CSB MSJ series and is intended for backup power in the telecommunications field, such as providing float power for base stations and similar facilities. The series is defined as a 2V high-capacity, long-life VRLA telecom battery series; under float charge at 25°C, its design life is up to 20 years and it meets the Eurobat long-life standard, i.e., more than 12 years at 20°C. Structurally, it is a valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery using AGM technology, with a maximum gas recombination efficiency of up to 99% and no maintenance required during use. Internally, it uses a pure lead construction and proprietary formulation, designed for high-capacity float standby power, complies with IEC 60896-21/22:2004, and is UL1989 recognized (MH14533). The case is made of flame-retardant ABS (UL 94-V0); the terminals are I4 threaded copper alloy and can accept M8 bolts, with a torque requirement of 126±25 Kgf·cm (109±22 Lbf·in or 12.3±2.5 N·m). Nominal voltage is 2 Vdc and nominal capacity is 260 Ah, at 1.80 VPC @25°C, 10-hour rate.
