CSB XHRL12250W is primarily designed for data center uninterruptible power supplies and is suitable for high-rate discharge, float standby, and similar applications; it is a 12V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery in the XHRL series. As a high-performance variant of HRL, the XHRL series is aimed at UPS and data center requirements and can deliver higher high-rate output. This battery uses Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology, achieves gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, features a maintenance-free design, and uses pure lead construction with proprietary elements. Its official application area is data center uninterruptible power supplies.
When operated in float standby service at 25°C, this battery can achieve a design life of 10 years; according to the Eurobat standard (20°C), it falls into the very long life class of greater than 12 years. Regarding temperature conditions, the nominal temperature is 25°C; discharge is allowed from -15°C to 50°C, and charging/storage is allowed from -15°C to 40°C. After 90 days of storage in a 25°C environment, the self-discharge rate is less than 10%; it can be stored for up to 6 months, and must be fully charged before being put into operation; when storage temperature exceeds 25°C, recharge should be done in advance. The battery is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is recognized under UL1989 (MH14533).
